We know the crews
We recommend captains and boats we know personally — crews we would happily sail with ourselves.
Fully crewed · Lefkada, Greece
Your own catamaran, a captain who knows these waters, and a crew who cooks around your day. Sail Greece’s most sheltered islands from Lefkada — we match you with the right yacht and plan the week with you.
What crewed means
A crewed charter is a private week on a catamaran with a professional crew aboard. The captain sails, anchors and plans each day around the weather. The crew runs the galley and the cabins. You swim, eat well and choose where to go next.
The captain handles navigation, mooring and the tender. No experience needed.
Breakfast and lunch cooked aboard, dinner aboard or ashore — your call each day.
Cabins made up daily, toys ready at the stern, a new bay most mornings.
Why book with us
We have run charters from Lefkas Marina for over ten years. We know the boats and the people who sail them.
We recommend captains and boats we know personally — crews we would happily sail with ourselves.
If a yacht does not suit your group, your dates or your budget, we tell you and show you one that does.
You plan with us from the first email to the last evening, and we stay a message away during the week.
We are based in the marina where most of these yachts start, and we know the islands beyond it.
The catamarans
A hand-picked fleet from operators we work with in Lefkada. Tell us your group and dates and we will shortlist the yachts that are free.
Fully crewed, sized to the yacht. Every catamaran comes with a professional captain and crew, and each proposal introduces the crew by name.
46–48 ft
Four double cabins, a captain and a chef or host. The right size for one family or two couples.
50–55 ft
Four or five cabins, more deck space and more crew. Room for a bigger family or a group of friends.
60 ft and up
A flybridge, wider decks and a more polished service. For celebrations, and for groups who want every detail handled.
Why the Ionian
Most Greek charters leave from Athens for the Cyclades, where the summer meltemi wind can blow hard for days at a time. The Ionian Sea is different: sheltered water, gentle afternoon breezes and green islands an hour or two apart. It suits a catamaran — and anyone who would rather swim than hold on.
Most legs take one to three hours, so the day belongs to bays, swims and long lunches.
Islands sit close together in the lee of the mainland — easy on families and first-time sailors.
Kalamos, Kastos and Meganisi see a fraction of the crowds of Mykonos or Santorini.
Life aboard
A catamaran sails flat, anchors close to shore and gives every cabin its own space. Aboard one of our luxury catamarans.
A week aboard
A sample loop from Lefkas Marina. Short sailing legs, long swims, quiet villages. The captain adjusts it to the wind and to you.
Board in the afternoon, meet the crew, settle into your cabins. First dinner aboard.
Swim in the bays on the island’s north side, then an evening walk up to Spartochori.
A quiet, green island with a small harbor and taverna tables by the water.
A car-free island of a few dozen people. Snorkel the rocky coast, eat on the quay.
Kioni’s little harbor and its windmills, or a walk in the hills above Vathi.
Pastel harbor houses, good restaurants, and a swim in Foki bay nearby.
A last morning swim, then a sheltered bay and a farewell dinner ashore.
Breakfast aboard and goodbye to the crew.
How the price works
In high season, expect from about €15,000 a week for a 46–48 ft catamaran to €35,000 and more for a 60 ft luxury yacht, before APA and VAT. June, September and October cost less. Every proposal shows the full figure for the boat and week you ask about.
The yacht for the week, its equipment and toys. On some boats crew wages are included; on others they are a fixed extra.
An advance for food, drinks, fuel and marina fees, usually 25–35% of the charter fee. The captain keeps the receipts and returns what is not spent.
Greek VAT on the charter. Each proposal says whether it is already included.
Customary at the end of the week and entirely at your discretion.

FAQ
It depends on the yacht, its crew and the week. In high season, crewed catamarans from Lefkada start at about €15,000 a week for a 46–48 ft yacht and €35,000 for a 60 ft luxury catamaran, plus APA and VAT. Shoulder-season weeks cost less. Our cost guide has a full worked example.
Close to it. The crew, cabins, linen, cleaning and water toys come with the yacht. Food, drinks, fuel and marina fees are paid from the APA, an advance the captain accounts for, so there is no surprise bill at the end. Some yachts also offer rates with meals and drinks built in — ask and we will compare both.
No. The captain sails the yacht and the crew handles everything aboard. Help with the lines if you would like to learn.
Most take 8 to 10 guests in four or five double cabins. For bigger groups, two catamarans can sail the same route together.
A catamaran sails flat, with far less heel and roll, which suits families and anyone prone to seasickness. It has around twice the deck space, cabins apart in separate hulls, and a shallow draft that lets it anchor close to the beach.
On a skippered charter you have a captain only and look after meals and the boat yourselves. On a crewed charter the crew also cooks, cleans and keeps the cabins, so the week is fully taken care of.
An advance provisioning allowance — usually 25–35% of the charter fee — that pays for food, drinks, fuel and marina fees during the week. You get an itemized account and any balance back.
Yes. You fill in a preference sheet before the trip, and the chef shops and cooks around it.
Very. Catamarans sail flat with lots of safe deck space, and the crews are used to children. Tell us their ages and we will check life jackets and toys.
Fly to Athens — several US cities have nonstop flights in summer — then take the one-hour domestic flight to Preveza (PVK), about 30 minutes by road from Lefkas Marina. Many guests connect through a European hub straight to Preveza instead. We can arrange the airport transfer.
The company that operates the yacht, under a standard MYBA contract — usually half on signing and the balance with the APA before the trip.
July and August weeks on the best yachts go first, often many months ahead. June, September and October give more choice and quieter anchorages.
