We have been operating in the area for the past decade, we know all the highlights and hidden gems, and we have collaborators and friends everywhere.

We are from Greece, and have been travelling the Ionian professionally for several years. We know every small corner, all hidden gems, we have countless collaborators in land, for tours and activities, we know where to eat, drink and be merry! We love the locals and they love us back!

We are a team of skippers and hostesses. We are usually out there in the wave. All the assistance and advice that comes to you will be from the inside, not from some big agency employee in a distant office. And that’s for before/during and after your trip.

We just had a fantastic sailing experience with Oasis. Mike is a exceptional, laid back captain, who is very knowledgeable and an amazing host. Sophia was also great to have along, and kept things in order. The both of them were like family, and made our passage very special. The Ionians are simply spectacular. Captain Mike's knowledge of secluded private coves made our voyage unique. The food on the islands was delicious and the people are very welcoming. We definitely recommend sailing with Oasis. Our crew will certainly be back again.

Absolutely incredible! They made our trip safe, comfortable, and unforgettable. Whether the day went according to plan or had to be adjusted because of rough waters, they were chill, communicative, and made sure we got to beautiful and fun locations that cannot be accessed by big boats and cruise ships. The food was amazing and always so fresh. They know the area so they gave great recommendations for when we were off the boat too.

I just finished a trip with Oasis. I can’t recommend Mike and Sofia enough. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and knew how to make each day special. They really took into account the interests of our group and curated our experiences, and island stops, to match. Everything Sofia made, for food, was delicious and she was so carful to pay attention to what we liked even going so far as to get special drinks she heard us mention in passing. Mike checked the weather and adjusted to smooth oceans for swimming and other excursions and talked to locals to get us the best deals on shore. 10/10 would recommend this company and hope to be back on another boat with Oasis before long.

Mike and Sofia were beyond exceptional at every level! I had the privilege of spending a week with them and 5 of my friends sailing the South Ionian islands. Every stop was incredible. Sofia provided breakfasts, lunches, and snacks on the boat, and every meal was incredible--light but filling and a complete tour of Greek cuisine.

This was my first time doing any sort of sailing holiday, and I ran the trip as an experiment for a travel business of my own--hosting fellow travelers for a once in a lifetime adventure. Mike was an exceptional partner and wonderfully patient as I asked questions and learned the ins and outs of planning a sailing vacation. He and Sofia helped me understand all aspects of planning the itinerary, budgeting for the boat and associated expenses, and more. I felt support and encouraged the whole way. They even provided ideas and coordination for shore excursions uniquely suited to our interests.

All five of my fellow guests agreed that we would happily sail with Oasis again. I can't wait for another adventure with Oasis Sailing!

Our captain Mike and his hostess Sophia were outstanding. We had 6 people traveling (parents and kids aged 11-25). They attended to everyone with great care and thoughtfulness. The ports amd swimming bays we visited were outstanding. The crew was relaxed and yet extremely attentive to whatever anyone needed. We would HIGHLY recommend this sailing trip in general (cute towns, fun tavernas, amazing water) and would recommend this crew without hesitation. They thought of everything. We couldn’t have been happier.

Mike expertly led our flotilla from Lefkada around the various islands and back. His local knowledge and connections made it easy to obtain beautiful mornings as well as locating some of the best food. He helped organize shuttles and sightseeing excursions.

We really appreciated Mike’s low-key no stress approach. We never felt rushed and his communication was excellent.

Highly recommend choosing Mike as your flotilla leader or for a sail.

Mike is an incredible captain who has a vast knowledge of the Ionian sea. He and Sofia made our sailing journey one that we will never forget. They both speak excellent English. Sofia is an amazing hostess. She is an excellent chef that makes you feel totally at ease while also a deck hand that can perform any task on the boat.

The only way to see Greece! Everything was perfect to include the sailing, stops in small towns, swimming at the best private beaches and the restaurants Captain Mike suggested. the trip we did end of April was amaizing! one of the best vacations we had! we had great weather with good wing and could sail 70 Nautical miles in 4 days across several islands. We had lots of fun with Mike and really relaxed! we look forward coming back another time!

Our two-week sailing adventure with Oasis in Greece was nothing short of spectacular! My father-in-law and I embarked on a journey through the Ionian Sea with Captain Mike in September, and it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime.

We shared the most amazing week with Mike on the Ionian Sea. He planned the perfect itinerary for our group and did a great job advising us on what to do and see, where to eat, and even set up a fantastic massage overlooking the water. A beautiful trip in the ionic islands where you can relax and not think about anything. Mike The Captain is easy going and flexible. He will bring you in beautiful places with crystal water and amazing nature and will give you tips on what to do and where to eat when you stay overnight in a port. If you r lucky enough you go to sleep under star and wake up in a new beautiful beach! Never a fail! He managed to survive our group so you r good to go! Jump on board and start sailing. 😊

It is very evident that Mike is very capable of handling his boat in all sailing conditions and in docking or anchoring. Mike is very conscious of the safety for all those on board. His boat is well maintained.
Mike offered a number of suggestions for restaurants or sites on shore (non mandatory) and has numerous connections throughout the islands that support the locals and away from the touristy spots. Mike is also very flexible in terms of where we took the boat every day and invited all on the board to indicate their preferences.

Our group of three spent the most amazing week with Mike Soutos and Oasis Sailing in the Southern Ionians in the first week of October 2022. We had the time of our life!
Mike is a great skipper, patient in teaching us how to sail, and responsive to our desires as passnegers and tourists. He listened to the types of experiences we wanted and crafted a one week itinerary that checked all of our boxes — beautiful secluded beaches, archaeological ruins and history, wooded hikes, quaint port towns, exciting sailing, etc.
The S/Y Oasis is a comfortable Beneteau Oceanis 43 that is nicely outfitted with a SUP, snorkel gear, dinghy, bluetooth stereo with speakers in the salon and cockpit, etc. — everything that you would need to enjoy your time on the water. Being an owner-charterer, you can’t help but feel that Mike tries to go above and beyond in caring for S/Y Oasis and keeping her in tip-top shape!
We enjoyed our time so much, we are already trying to figure ut how to get back next year!

Our trip with Oasis/Mike exceeded all our expectations. Mike is knows the places and the people in the Ionian and is a great fun to spend time with on the boat. Can’t say enough good things about him.

He is always willing to help with anything you need. You might be able to find a lesser skipper in this area. But I doubt you could do better.

I absolutely loved Mike and my experience on the Oasis. Mike is a very intuitive, thoughtful, and kind person. He is also knowledgeable on the area and well connected, and exactly who you’d want to spend your days with sailing the Ionian.
